An Easy Transition from College Life to a Career in Technology

Our 24-month IT Early Career Development Program is designed to kick-start an exciting and rewarding career in technology. Associates will be placed as full-time employees in meaningful roles where they will gain valuable experience as IT professionals.

The program provides early-career hires with:

  • • Dedicated mentorship with industry leaders.
  • • A collaborative learning environment of smaller cohorts of associates who are also new to Healthfirst.
  • • 1:1 mentorship with program managers to discuss career paths and growth opportunities.
  • • Training tailored to the associate’s role, focusing on fine-tuning existing skill sets and gaining new, in-demand industry skills.
  • • A professional network of peers and senior leaders.
  • • An opportunity to do impactful work while developing professionally and technically.
  • • An opportunity to pay it forward and mentor the next class of associates.
  • • At the end of the program a graduation ceremony will be held to celebrate the success of each associate and their assignment to a specific team as an experienced member.

Program Teams

There are two distinct program paths: technical and business. Based on their technical skills and interests, each associate is aligned to a path and a role within one of 7 participating teams for the duration of the program.
