Description and Requirements
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conducts market research and understands members’ needs to ensure our current dental benefit remain competitive and sustainable.
- Designs interactive dashboards that provide an at-a-glance view of key performance indicators (KPIs), member feedback based on appeals and grievances, utilization and spend across our Healthfirst products.
- Creates visually appealing presentations that demonstrate data-driven insights to promote data driven decision making.
- Builds a process to ensure the accuracy of our dental directory meets Healthfirst performance targets and/or compliance standards.
- Creates oversight monitoring activities including the validation of reporting to ensure the dental vendor meets Healthfirst targets and/or compliance expectations on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Additional duties as assigned or necessary
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent
- Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL, Python or R
- Experience with data visualization and reporting techniques using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Demonstrated success analyzing large datasets
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Continuous learning mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in data analytics or consulting, preferably in the healthcare industry
- 1+ years' of working experience with SQL
- 1+ years' of working experience with Python
- Knowledge of health care industry, systems, business strategies and products
- Use advanced analytical tools and software for data analysis and modeling

Hiring Range*:
Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $81,100 - $117,470
All Other Locations (within approved locations): $71,600 - $106,505
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
