Description and Requirements
Duties & Responsibilities:/b>/p>
· Work collaboratively with finance analysis, sales, population health, operations, marketing, and other departments as necessary to support strategic plans to achieve market growth, quality and financial objectives/p>
· Compile information from multiple sources to prepare and distribute time-sensitive and accurate reporting for internal and external audiences/p>
· Support team in analysis of the financial performance of the Medicare product portfolio, identify favorable and unfavorable trends, develop recommendations to improve trends, communicate recommendations to management through a P&L focused mindset/p>
· Support team in analysis of quality and operational performance by identifying, tracking and monitoring key performance indicators/p>
· Design, create, modify, support and maintain monthly competitive reports/p>
· Prepare ad-hoc reporting as required by senior management and external partners/p>
· Support team in creation of models to forecast growth performance and financial outcomes/p>
· Effectively manage projects by setting clear project milestones and deliverables; clearly communicating goals, objectives and responsibilities. Participate in meetings to gather and specify departmental requirements for such projects/p>
· Query data, build dashboards and reports using Microsoft Excel, Tableau, SQL and other pertinent tools/p>

Minimum Qualifications:/b>/p>
· Bachelor’s Degree from accredited institution/p>
· SQL and Tableau skills with ability to query, compile, and manipulate large datasets/p>
· Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel/p>
· A tendency to take full ownership of a situation or deliverable, having pride in one’s work, being an expert in the area, and a willingness to do whatever it takes to get to a result./p>
· Understand and translate highly complex concepts to a wide range of audience with the ability to take a complex program or situation and break it down into simpler, constituent parts./p>
· Experience in analyzing trends and identifying drivers/p>
· Ability to efficiently validate data and analyses to identify potential errors in final results/p>
· Highly analytical person who can demonstrates problem solving and critical thinking skills./p>
· Strong public speaking and oral and written communication skills with the ability to translate data to business insights/p>
· Team player who contributes to creating a positive work environment and willing to get things done with a bias towards action and prototyping towards a solution./p>
· Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and a desire to continue learning and growing, while showing the intention to go above and beyond to understand the business context./p>

Preferred Qualifications:/b>/p>
· Experience working in a health care delivery system or a health insurance company/p>
· Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid programs, health care, and managed care/p>
· Python skills with ability to create automated data pulls and manipulations/p>
Hiring Range*:/p>
Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $67,200 - $97,155/p>/li>
All Other Locations (within approved locations): $59,800 - $88,910/p>/li>/ul>
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision./p>
