Position Summary:
PHSP Facilitated Enrollment team is the face of Healthfirst who serve as a healthcare consultant to educate prospective members to select a health plan that fits their needs while supporting existing members with information that relates to Healthfirst products and services. We work hand in hand with providers and hospitals to deliver quality customer services and care to the community we serve.
We are seeking high energy individuals who have extraordinary attention to detail and analytical problem-solving. As an intern, you will collaborate with Sales and Product Management to support acquisition and retention growth. You will focus on assisting in design, researching, and drafting new and revised policies and procedures. You will work directly with the Sales management team to develop and maintain policy manuals and other supporting documentation to meet compliance guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist with writing, reviewing, editing, and formatting departmental policies, procedures, and other relevant aids & documents.
- Develop educational resources for departmental policies, including organization, retention, format, and support to ensure alignment
- Monitors revisions, additions of job aids and P&P documents to ensure consistency across the board
- Assist policy owners to meet relevant regulatory and accreditation standards related to policies & procedures.
- Identify root causes and make recommendations for process improvements within Salesforce and other areas of business to increase efficiency
- Operate with intellectual curiosity and critically assess existing processes and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement
- Hold oneself accountable for the accuracy, completeness, quality, and relevance of deliverables to take responsibility for work product and consider these factors in the end-to-end marketing and communication business process, from data gathering to analysis to formatting and presentation
- Support ad-hoc requests from Leadership as requested
Minimum Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and follow- up skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good proofreading skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in project management
- Proficient with MS Word
- Passion for solving challenging problems using technology
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and maintain attention to detail
- Undergraduate students must be a junior or senior at an accredited institution or have graduated within 12 months of the program. Graduate students must be enrolled at an accredited institution or have graduated within 12 months of the program.
- Will not require sponsorship for employment
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA from an accredited school
Hiring Range*:
Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $39,208 - $52,000
All Other Locations (within approved locations): $34,091 - $49,920
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
