Description and Requirements
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Has oversight of the entire broker appointment process to ensure proper completion of contracts and marketing agreements.
- Responsible for reviews of credentialing paperwork, confirmation of active licenses, and assignment of specific coding to be assigned to all new business for tracking and payment purposes
- Advises the sales and marketing staff regarding producer problems and/or difficulties if outreach/education is required
- Assists with hiring and training new staff members to their role within the commission team
- Responsible for managing incoming producer issues from the Service Call Center via designated CRM
- Responsible for reporting and tracking sales and commission payments to the Sales department
- Communicates with internal and third-party software developers and assist in the workings of commission models and/ or promotions to ensure programming provides accurate commission outputs
- Creates and maintains key commission analyses monthly, quarterly & annually
- Assists in policy and procedure updates in relation to commissions
- Additional duties as necessary
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
- Experience in the Broker appointment and Commissions spectrum
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
- Experience with an incentive compensation management tool, preferably SAP/APM
- Experience working with external insurance vendors/agencies (NIPR, DFS, Background check vendors)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active NY State Producer License
- Experience with CRM; Salesforce a plus

Hiring Range*:
Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $100,900 - $145,775
All Other Locations (within approved locations): $86,500 - $128,690
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
