Scope of Responsibilities:
Key member of the enterprise CLM solutions leadership team engaging in all aspects of strategy, planning, implementation, and operations, with a specialized expertise in the use of technology as an enabler to achieve business objectives and a competitive advantage, provides an exceptional user experience and ensures operational compliance.
Coordinate and communicate on-going operations, incremental and continuous improvements of the implemented enterprise CLM solution, configuration management and associated change management activities.
Identifies CLM service enhancements and/or process improvements by defining the CLM solutions roadmap to drive incremental and continuous improvement aligned with business objectives and technical innovation.
Works with business teams to optimize contracting processes, leveraging technology to align CLM software with the clients' specific requirements and goals.
Acts as the Legal Department’s subject matter expert on the Vendor Contract Management Lifecycle team, including engagement, onboarding, contracting, business management, and termination.
Manages Icertis database to ensure all contractual terms are memorialized appropriately. • Provides training to BUOs on vendor contract management policies and procedures and use of CLM system.
Coordinates with BUOs to submit CLM intakes on their behalf or provide assistance as needed for the BUOs to submit their own CLM intakes.
Manages all aspects of contract administration; analyzes contract requirements; performs comprehensive contractual reviews, evaluations; drafts contractual provisions based on strategy discussions, senior management input, and organizational needs and expectations; addresses contract issues and recommend actions based on analytical review
Manages contract specialists; provides support and coverage for work duties of contract specialists as needed
Provides training for the newly hired staff so that they become proficient in the contract specialist role
Drives departmental initiatives, including the new legal contracting tools, and the use of technologies to increase efficiencies
Creates and manages templates for legal and business stakeholders and self-help tools (dashboards, toolkits, legal training, Q&A, guidelines, process flows, etc.) relating to vendor and provider contract management for increased efficiency
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent professional experience.
Strong understanding of CLM solutions through hands-on implementation experience.
Working experience in contract administration (e.g. development, negotiation, and redlining).
Experience with MS Office suite, CLM technology solutions, Workday ERP, DocuSign, and SharePoint.
Ability to think strategically and communicate effectively at varied levels of management to articulate the understanding of their mission needs and requirements, and to communicate the value and benefit of CLM solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity/proficiency with Icertis CLM system.
Business experience requiring professional written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
Strong collaborative skills.
Very detail oriented with ability to effectively manage multiple simultaneous projects.
Team player, possessing a strong work ethic and problem-solving skills.
Proficient at establishing and maturing Vendor Contracting best practices.
Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Proven track record of delivering improvements that enhance operations and team performance.
A proactive attitude towards identifying needs, anticipating issues and generating solutions.
Strong project management skills.
Strong working knowledge of, and hands-on practical experience with, technology tools and applications typically used in Legal department settings.
Hiring Range*:
Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $100,900 - $145,775
All Other Locations (within approved locations): $86,500 - $128,690
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
