Description and Requirements
This is a hybrid position which consists of reporting to our 100 Church Street, NYC office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Customer Service – Respond to employee inquiries through inbox, phone and email on all HR topics (performance management, time entry, handle verifications of employment, unemployment & documentation inquiries. Assist with employee issues and determine root cause to develop improved process.
Team Support – Support on basic benefits, compensation, talent acquisition and talent management administrative activities, such as training events, scheduling, orientation, service awards, materials creation, employee events, general project support work, etc.
General Administration – Work activities including filing, special administrative projects, onboarding, data entry, spreadsheet input and creation, etc.
Business Survey & Engagement – Supporting the enterprise needs around survey the employee population, as well as support basic specific reviews such as 360 request and other engagement administrative support.
Participate in testing – Workday development, new processes, process documentation.
Review and audit data entries in WD to ensure accuracy and compliance; back up data entry as needed.
Other duties and projects, as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma, GED or equivalent required
Prior Human Resources experience, including one or more areas: HR Shares Service model, HR operations, benefits administration, customer service, HR Case Management, or HR generalist capacity
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
BA/BS from an accredited institution
Understanding of FMLA, ADA and state and local laws preferred
Understanding of Workers’ Compensation preferred
Demonstrated abilities in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong analytic, communication (written and verbal) and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong customer acumen and experience
Ability to work independently
Ability to perform multiple tasks
Knowledge of health care industry preferred
Hiring Range*:
Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $81,100 - $117,470
All Other Locations (within approved locations): $71,600 - $106,505
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
