Description and Requirements

Healthfirst seeks an HR Project Manager (PM) who will contribute to our growth and effectiveness by implementing multiple, complex, enterprise-wide projects. This role will report to the Director, HR Program Management, and partner closely with subject matter experts and project leaders on the Learning and Organizational Development teams. The PM will scope, plan and execute multiple projects and ensure timely implementation of each step of the project, identifying and mitigating risks, creating communication and change plans, scheduling and leading meetings, keeping internal and external people engaged and focused on deliverables, and completing a variety of operational and administrative tasks needed to keep a project moving. It is an exciting time in HR at Healthfirst. We are expanding our organizational development offerings and adding exciting new tools in learning. Implementing and increasing the efficiency of our leadership development offerings will be the first primary focus for the person in this role, and we believe other projects with enterprise impact will follow, such as implementing a new LMS and launching career development. The HR Project Manager will gain new experiences and learning with each project. This as a great opportunity for someone who is highly organized and detail-oriented with exceptional project management, process, and influence skills who is interested in learning about HR. OD or Learning expertise is not necessary in this role.

Hybrid Work Schedule consists of reporting to our NYC office 3 days per week located at 100 Church Street, NY, NY 10007.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Scope, plan, and oversee project tasks, timelines, deliverables, and the internal and external people engaged in multiple projects
  • Works in deep partnership and daily collaboration with the OD program or project lead ensuring an agreed upon, timely, flawless delivery
  • Coordination of a variety of tasks which make enterprise-wide employee development programs run flawlessly, such as building and managing rosters, scheduling meetings, tracking learner participation, interacting with external vendors, and assisting with live, on-line learning sessions.
  • Ensures success measures are in place, tracked, and reported
  • Guides cross functional team members and external partners through the project from start to finish and collaboratively troubleshoots concerns, resolving issues which put the project at risk
  • Provides consistent and clear communication among all people engaged in the project, and raises risks before they become urgencies
  • Cultivates an environment of trust, complete transparency, and information sharing
  • Continuously looks for ways to improve operational efficiency
  • Provides operational and some administrative assistance to program or project leads and SMEs

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have proven work experience managing complex programs and/or projects with timely delivery and minimal errors
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusting and influential relationships with a highly diverse group of people at various levels with different experiences
  • Good working knowledge of productivity and project management tools & technology
  • Experienced in managing cross-functional projects, streamlining processes and ensuring successful implementation of strategic programs
  • Extraordinarily concise, clear, written, and verbal communications
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to increase process efficiency
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma, or Lean
  • Some experience or education in Human Resources or a related field
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge

Hiring Range*:

  • Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $100,900 - $145,775

  • All Other Locations (within approved locations): $86,500 - $128,690

As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
