Duties/Responsibilities
- In partnership with the Director of External Communications, manage the strategic planning of the entire content life cycle, ensuring alignment with specified objectives and timelines
- Responsible for content and production of regular Government Affairs newsletters
- Evaluates metrics for key content, including the Government Affairs newsletter, to measure effectiveness and reach and to adjust as necessary
- Produce, with colleagues from the Story Innovation Lab, Healthfirst’s first podcast series
- Develop and implement innovative content strategies in collaboration with external, internal, and enterprise communications teams to enhance audience engagement and generate new content ideas.
- Additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, advanced degree preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Creative thinking skills and the ability to generate unique content ideas
- In-depth knowledge of content creation and distribution across various platforms
- Innovative approach to content, thinking beyond the written word to consider visual, video, audio, in-person experiences and more as possible channels
- Strategic mindset to align content efforts with business goals
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communications skills; strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
- Bilingual
- Agency experience
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a detail-oriented manner.
- Ability to handle projects with the appropriate level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Ability to work well under pressure with humor and grace.
- A team player that recognizes the importance of working collaboratively.
Hiring Range*:
Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $100,900 - $145,775
All Other Locations (within approved locations): $86,500 - $128,690
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
