Description and Requirements

Healthfirst’s 2025 Summer Trailblazer Internship is a 10-week paid program beginning on June 2, 2025. This is an immersive and interactive learning experience, that lays a foundation for continued leadership and professional development. Interns do impactful work, collaborating with other interns, employees, and business leaders to solve current business problems and deliver solutions.

Job Description 

In the Clinical Performance Optimization team, you will work with process improvements, project go-lives, and reporting/analytics. This is a critical team that will provide insight across various programs and lines of businesses across the company.  

   

Duties & Responsibilities:  

  • Enhance program management/project management tools and reporting  
  • Create portfolio level reporting across teams  
  • Learn business areas and create process flows for key business processes  
  • Assist with team meetings (notes and facilitation)  
  • Review key program dependencies  
  • Perform Analyses on complex data sets  
  • Generate ad hoc and repeat reporting to support multiple departments  

 
Minimum Qualifications:  

  • Undergraduate students must be a junior or senior at an accredited institution or have graduated within 12 months of the program. Graduate students must be enrolled at an accredited institution or have graduated within 12 months of the program.  
  • Will not require sponsorship for employment  
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.  
  • Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA from an accredited school  

Hiring Range*:

  • Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $39,208 - $52,000

  • All Other Locations (within approved locations): $34,091 - $49,920

As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
