Duties:
Stays current in new IT technologies to maintain a high level of subject matter expertise.
Oversee team processes, monitors metrics, and make continuous improvements to elevate the team’s efficiency
Subject matter expert for Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.
Expert in SFMC (Salesforce Marketing cloud) integration with other platforms including Salesforce Service Cloud, Segment (Customer Data Platform) and Kitewheel.
Guide the design, implementation, testing and delivery of work within the team that cultivates communication and best practices for campaign management.
Provides technical assistance with software systems and troubleshoot software failures
Reviews performance of applications programs to ensure program efficiency, program documentation, and to ensure that output meets the needs of the business and technology
Evaluate and recommend new technologies to best support Healthfirst initiatives
Proven ability to interact at and communicate to all levels of an organization.
Ability to demonstrate organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills along with the ability to manage shifting priorities are critical for success in this position
Designs, develops, and maintains complex applications
Develops unit tests and provides code coverage to accurately test business logic and functionality
Participates in developing specifications such as user stories and designs
Solves or recommends solutions for complex issues and problems
Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications
Documents designs, issues, solutions, tips & tricks as needed
Fosters a team approach to software development and delivery
Key Responsibilities:
1. Solution Design & Development:
- Design and implement complex marketing automation solutions using Salesforce Marketing
Cloud (SFMC), including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Mobile Studio.
- Develop custom solutions using AMPscript, SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to enhance
marketing campaign performance.
- Integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud with other Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, etc.) and
third-party systems to create seamless customer experiences.
2. Campaign Execution & Optimization:
- Work closely with marketing teams to gather requirements, design, and implement personalized
customer journeys and campaigns.
- Build and maintain scalable data models, audience segmentation strategies, and dynamic
content to optimize campaign effectiveness.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, identifying areas for optimization and
improvement.
3. Data Management & Security:
- Ensure proper data management practices are followed, including data ingestion, segmentation,
and hygiene processes.
- Implement security protocols to ensure that data privacy standards are adhered to and that
Marketing Cloud environments are protected from unauthorized access.
4. Troubleshooting & Support:
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to Marketing Cloud, including
deliverability, data integration errors, and campaign execution problems.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and marketing teams in using Marketing
Cloud tools and capabilities.
5. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, IT, and sales to deliver integrated
solutions.
- Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce Marketing Cloud updates, trends, and best practices
to drive innovation within the platform.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing, or a related field
Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and related tools).
Proficient in AMPscript, SQL, and SSJS (Server-Side JavaScript)
Strong understanding of data management principles, including audience segmentation, data extensions, and relational data modeling.
Experience integrating Salesforce Marketing Cloud with external systems using APIs and connectors.
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and email design best practices.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer Certification or Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification (preferred).
Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Salesforce CRM, especially Sales Cloud or Service Cloud.
- Experience in working in Agile or Scrum project management environments.

Hiring Range*:
Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $131,900 - $190,570
All Other Locations (within approved locations): $117,400 - $174,675
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
