Description and Requirements

As part of the Customer Experience & Insights (CX&I) team, you will have the opportunity to shape how the business reports, understands and acts on our customer feedback. This position will identify and satisfy data needs, ensure data quality and integrity, and assist the creation of easy-to-use, impactful reporting. You will collaborate closely with technical teams, key business partners and vendors, working with them on survey and customer data needs, streamline data processes and workflows, manage large datasets, conduct data hygiene, prep and connect data. The objective is to ensure the team delivers consolidated and enhanced reports for enterprise use and action.
  • Ensure the end-to-end quality and integrity of data processes and resulting data sets, including traceability to data systems and sources of truth.
  • Be comfortable working on parallel projects
  • Be self-motivated and able to adhere to high personal standards of work, striving to deliver the final product in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Proactively set accurate work delivery expectations and communicate status, keeping your supervisory chain appraised of your bandwidth and availability.
  • Own the creation, sharing and updating of key program documentation: standard operating procedures, reference documents and requirements, from documenting business needs, through data definitions, to ETL and joining procedures and preparation for reporting.
  • Effectively manage projects by setting clear milestones and deliverables; clearly communicate goals, objectives and responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, IT and business managers who will hand off projects, set the priorities and inspect the output of the final work
  • Efficiently and effectively manage and document Quality Checks and Data Monitoring, proactively identify and address process enhancements and support data linkages required for dashboarding and visualization.
  • Help guide technical partners on potential solutions for CX data processes implementation
  • Plan, schedule, monitor, and report on activities related to a project or assignment.
  • Exercise initiative and diligence in process and points along the data journey to identify root causes of issues, develop and implement solutions.
  • Comfortable supporting high volume, always-on data flows with hands-on support to trouble shoot, identify root causes and implement fixes for unexpected issues.
  • Develop reports as needed using Microsoft Excel and Tableau.
  • Other tasks as assigned, related to ongoing data, reporting and analysis projects.

Minimum Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
  • Possess analytical strength and curiosity to make observations, understand questions and explain answers in and about data sets and data processes.
  • Hands-on skills of defining and handling data, planning and managing ETL processes and outputs, and resolving anomalies.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with SQL for data creation, amendments and maintenance
  • Experience utilizing a business intelligence visualization tool such as Tableau, Power Bl
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivots, lookups, Analysis ToolPak functions)
  • High attention to detail and ability to create scalable solutions in data environments
  • An in-depth understanding of upstream and downstream impacts data, product, and business impact
  • Self-starter and must thrive in a collaborative cross-functional team environment while being process focused, and able to manage projects
  • Ability to work with a range of individuals, manage multiple requests with fast turn-around deadlines


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Min 3 years’ Experience with SQL
  • Min 3 years of using Tableau and Tableau Prep for data preparation, data joins & creating and delivering reporting ready digital reporting
  • Understanding data, it’s impact on downstream processes, and experience working with technical teams to plan, execute, troubleshoot and resolve data related
  • Experience working with surveys and back-end enterprise tools
  • Passion for Customer Experience (CX) and helping organizations use data to achieve goals
  • Experience in Python and/or other data scripting languages
  • Understanding healthcare data

Hiring Range*:

  • Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $81,100 - $117,470

  • All Other Locations (within approved locations): $71,600 - $106,505

As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
